Course Requirements

Prerequisite: Core Studies 1, Classical Origins of Western Culture

This course will meet Monday and Wednesday from 12:15 to 1:30 in the Classics library, 2405 Boylan. Note the change of room.

Attendance is required at all classes. If you miss more than three classes without a valid excuse, your grade will be lowered. Class participation, including occasional quizzes and on-line discussions, will count 20% of your grade.

No late papers will be accepted except by special arrangement made in advance.

The two papers will count a total of 30%; the mid-term test will count 25%; and the cumulative final exam will count 25%.
