Internship Requirements
Please note that papers and evaluation are due one week before finals begin. If you submit the paper late, you will be penalized. It is not fair to make an entire class to wait for one student who decides to submit his/her paper after completing finals. I reserve the right to refuse late papers and give you an F for the internship.
(1) A 7-page paper (typed and double-spaced) describing what you do and what you learned on your job. You might describe how the business is run from a managerial, marketing, accounting, and/or finance perspective. If you wish, you may also discuss improvements that can be made to increase employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and/or productivity at the internship site.
(2) A letter of evaluation from your supervisor. Click here to download the intern evaluation form.
(3) You must work for a minimum of 135 hours in order to receive credit for an internship.
(4) You MUST submit the paper and evaluation to
me before finals. In fact, I would prefer getting them about
one week before
finals begin.
Since you represent Brooklyn College, I expect you to
do the best job possible. Do not come late to work and please dress appropriately.
