Film concentration for majors in the following programs early childhood

education teacher (prekindergarten-3); elementary education teacher (K-6);

elementary bilingual education teacher (K-6); special education teacher.

The requirements for the teacher education programs indicated above are

described in the "Education" section in this Bulletin. Students who major in

any of these programs and who elect a concentration in film must complete all

of the following courses with a grade of C or higher:

Film 1 or 9, 2, 15, 16, 20, 40.1.

Discussion

Film 9 is a special introductory section to film language, designed for Education majors, which may substitute for Film 1. Clearance for the option of 1 or 9 has been sought and approved by the School of Education.
