Jay Lemke was formerly Professor in the School of Education at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and on the CUNY Doctoral Faculty for the Ph.D. Program in Urban Education and the Ph.D. Program in Developmental Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center. He served as the founding Executive Officer of the university's Ph.D. Program in Urban Education. He is now active in research and teaching at the University of Michigan.
