Core Studies 6: Masterwork of Literature
Fall 1998
THIS SECTION OF Core 6 is an experimental section; we will be reading literary theory and criticism about the works as well as literary works themselves in an effort to understand ways of reading, or interpreting, literary texts. Students are responsible for reading assigned material, writing a term paper, a midterm and a final, and any written exercises assigned.
