Members of the American Federation of Teachers picketing in New York against the Rapp-Coudert witch-hunt committee in New York in the late 1930s [sic]. The committee forced hundreds of New York teachers out of their jobs. Today, protests are occurring around the country against efforts to resurrect such "internal security" committees.
