The paper's introduction sets the tone for the whole work, and gives the reader an
understanding of the scope of the report. It is a critical part of the report and should
be written with great care. It must contain specific information regarding the problem
addressed in the paper, and it must put the paper in the historical context of other
research on dinosaur trackways, locomotion, etc. The work of other authors that relate to
the problem discussed in the paper is often referred to in the introduction.
