CALCULATE SPEED & STRIDE LENGTH: Our goal is to find a relationship for speed and stride length of our human test subject. The raw data is in the form of travel time (in seconds) and the number of strides needed to traverse the race track. It is not difficult to transform our raw data into the necessary parameters by remembering that the distance travelled in each test is 50 m, and noting that:

Speed = distance/time = 50m/time

Stride length = distance/(number of strides) = 50m/(number of strides)

Calculate speed and stride length using the data in the previous table, and record the new data in the appropriate places of a table like the one below.
