THE AIMS OF THE INVESTIGATION:
- To understand the nature of evidence in geology.
- To understand how geologists draw conclusions.
- To investigate the origin of hills and valleys that characterize the New York City region and, in doing so, to provide explanations for the origin of some smaller landforms.
