Hurray!! I succeeded in sending the lecture notes via Brooklyn College email! However, please send all your emails to my AOL email address as shown on your syllabus. I rarely look at the BC email service.
The midterm exam will cover chapters 1-8, 10, and 11 in Winters, together with my lecture notes and material covered in class. It will be a closed book, essay exam. The exam will be given from 3:30 to 5:10 PM on Tuesday, March 25, in the lecture room.
The following materials will be needed for the upcoming (Tuesday, March 25, at 3:30 PM) petrology midterm on igneous rocks:
  1. a blue or black pen
  2. a couple of # 2 pencils with erasers, plus a sharpener
  3. a 6-inch or foot ruler
  4. one or two colored pencils may be helpful
