Research experience on Lunar rocks from Apollo (from all missions) and Luna missions, and Meteorites

(1970-1978) at the Institute of Meteoritics, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.

 

Application of modern instrumental techniques, including electron microprobe and high-pressure equipment to mineralogy and petrology (1970 to present).

 

Mineral Exploration and Mining Geology experience in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar in India during 1962-1965 and during the late eighties.

 

Field experience in mapping and specimen collection for petrologic work in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh states in India during 1954-57; 1961-65; Field work in Malanjkhand Copper Mine, Madhya Pradesh, during 1990-2001.

1995:“  Award for Community Service from the Telugu Association of North America”. (“Telugu” is among the top three languages spoken in India besides English. It is the language spoken by the people of Andhra Pradesh state in India with a population of over seventy million.
