Petrographic Report on Asbestos Content of Building Materials in Central Brooklyn High School, Wing #3

This report documents the content of 5 samples of building materials from Wing #3 of Central Brooklyn High School.  Samples were collected by an independent contractor and submitted to W. Powell for PLM analysis. Only one sample, FLOOR TILE #1 contained identifiable asbestos, with 2% very fine-grained chrysotile.

Description: Material is fibrous and friable. Tile is light gray in color with a white, painted bottom surface.

Description: Material is NOB. Tile is 12"x12" and is cream-colored with marblized brown pattern.
