Mission of the Dietetic Internship
The mission of the Dietetic Internship in the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences is to provide graduate students with a high quality multidisciplinary, critical perspective on foods and nutrition.  Competencies in dietetics practice include, but are not limited to, practice in medical nutrition therapy, food service management, and community nutrition.  Graduate students are prepared through academic courses, experiential learning activities, and research experiences to contribute as nutrition professionals.
