Churchill, Stalin, and FDR, at the 1945 Yalta Conference

Those of you with the Brinkley book will read that, to see how the US got to 1945 domestically; those without it will read the UN Charter, to see how the US got to 1945 internationally. The documents trace the evolution of US war aims with a focus on two of the stickier wartime issues: self-determination for colonies, and the fate of Poland.
