Library Expansion and Renovation

Project Timetable

Relocate Library To Temporary Quarters

After extensive analysis it was determined that it would be more cost effective and much more pleasant for Library patrons, if the library moved completely out of the existing building during the renovation. The Library will relocate into a combination of new temporary space to be constructed over some of the tennis courts behind Roosevelt Extension and some gymnasium spaces in Roosevelt Hall. The newly constructed temporary space will then be available for use during the West Quad construction project. The relocation will be made in two phases, first into the Roosevelt Hall spaces, and then into the new temporary structure. The relocation has been planned and phased to maximize availability of Library services throughout the project.
