The Brooklyn College Library is the College's intellectual commons, a vital learning environment rooted in the liberal arts tradition. It is the crossroads of the campus, both literally and figuratively.

The Library environment is one of motion, vibrancy, and excitement. A creative and energetic staff delivers both the library and academic computing programs, teaching students to evaluate information resources and assisting faculty as they apply technology to their instruction and scholarship.
