This collection contains 23 boxes.  Much of the material here are items relating to the books that Beatrice Siegel published.  There are manuscripts, drafts of the individual books, galley proofs, reviews, photographs, as well as some other miscellaneous items.

Series 1 has drafts and galley proofs of Beatrice Siegel’s book titled Cory:  Corazon Aquino and the Philippines.  There are background files here of Corazon’s husband, Benigno S. Aquino, information on the Philippine Islands, miscellaneous articles and newsletters, as well as maps of the Philippine Islands, memorabilia, and photographs used in this book.

Series 2 contains sketches and drafts from Ms Siegel’s book George and Martha Washington at Home in New York.  There is a final draft, reviews and correspondence, research material, photos, and maps that she used in the book.

The next series, Series 3, has a box containing items about Ms Siegel’s book titled Sam Ellis’s Island.  There is a draft, galleys, illustrations, reviews, correspondence, as well as some background material on Ellis Island.

Series 4 bears material on Beatrice Siegel’s book The Steam Engine. There is a draft of the book as well as a manuscript, photographs that are in the book, correspondence, and some research material.

Series 5 has material about Ms Siegel’s book called The Sewing Machine. There is a draft, a final manuscript, photographs, correspondence, material from Singer, and research material.

Series 6 is made up of eight boxes of material on Ms Siegel’s book titled Alicia Alonso, the Story of a Ballerina.  There are galley proofs for this book, manuscript, a number of photographs, research material, articles, newspaper clippings, booklets, and assorted publications.

The final series, Series 7, covers Beatrice Siegel’s research of her book, Lillian Wald of Henry Street.  There are index cards on the research of this book, typescripts and notes, clippings, correspondence, and photographs.
