BROOKLYN COLLEGE LIBRARY

Lexis-Nexis

Lexis-Nexis is an online information search and retrieval service available to students enrolled in degree-bearing programs at Brooklyn College and to faculty using the service for teaching purposes. Lexis databases access full-text federal, state and local legislation information. The Nexis databases access over 2,400 full-text news sources.

Lexis-Nexis is a sophisticated searching tool that requires instruction before use. Brooklyn College librarians will train classes in using Lexis/Nexis at the request of a faculty member. Students and faculty may use Lexis-Nexis for one half-hour at a time during most hours when the Library is open. Sign up for Lexis-Nexis training and use at the Information Services desk in the Library.

During the month of February there is a trial of Lexis-Nexis on the Web.
You must obtain the user name and password from someone at the reference desk. You can then click here to connect.
