Notice:
Books with Call Numbers N and Q-Z are still being moved, but everything should
be in place soon. In case of doubt
check the stacks on floors 2 and 3, or ask for the most recent update at
Circulation
Notice: These are some
of things you can expect in the early days of September.
- As you'll see, the new Library is enormous! We've developed both maps
and tours to help you explore and master this expansive facility. Pick up
a map at the building's entrance or Circulation. Tours leave from the front
security desk just inside the main doors, and the librarian guides look forward
to showing you around and answering your questions.
- There will continue to be workmen in the building. They will go about
their tasks as quietly as each job permits, and they will appreciate your
patience as they put the finishing touches on the facility.
- The passenger elevators will be operational soon. In the meantime,
you may move through the building using any stairwell whose doors are propped
open, or the staff elevator.
- Public access PCs (hundreds of them!) will be installed gradually during
the month of September.
