no columns
for any reason

no justify right

no centering

NO PARAGRAPH INDENTING

I SAID NO PARAGRAPH INDENTING

NO NOTHING. Just a plain-vanilla text.

WHY? Because I use WORD "track changes" for corrections and if your file is formatted, when I make corrections or write comments, the page becomes a total mess.

IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD THAT WHEN I ASSIGN A 'PAGE' FROM THE ONLINE COURSE, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COVER THE ENTIRE CONTENT: LISTEN TO THE SOUNDFILES, WATCH THE VIDEOS,  AND DO ALL THE EXERCISES ON YOU OWN.

THE FOLLOWING EXERCISE IS REQUIRED.

Scroll down to the TELEPHONE SPELLING section. DO the exercise (in the sidebar).

Write the words spelled out in the sound file.

RECORD A VIDEO with the following segments:

start with your name and due date IN ITALIANO

1) alfabeto italiano, in one take. Practice until you sound smooth without halting pauses and hesitations. AND be accurate with the sounds. If you find it easier to concentrate with your eyes closed, go ahead. Not required for this segment.

2) scroll down to the middle of the page. PRACTICE reading the list of foods. I RECOMMEND writing down the words so as to make a stronger connection between sounds and spelling. READ and RECORD the list IN ONE TAKE.

3) Double consonants:  CHOOSE 10 minimal pairs from the list and READ-RECORD THEM. Do not overdo the sound of the double consonants. FOCUS on the LENGTH of the vowel.

4) Pronounce your Italian name + last name. SPELL THEM using the Italian spelling.

5) Scroll to the bottom of the page: TELEPHONE SPELLING. Using the names of cities, spell your Italian name + last name.  First say your name then spell.

6) RE task 5: read and record the words spelled out in the exercise. DO NOT SPELL, read the words.
