In theory this should be BC streaming server, but in reality, it may be necessary to DOWNLOAD the file first then play it locally from your HD.

Did you notice the critical attitude toward the American system? The film suggests that for a poor sap like Peppino, the only way to make it in America is either to become a clown or a criminal. And, in fact, at the end he decides to...

Did the criticism --coming from a foreign source - bother you, in the sense that "ONLY I CAN KICK MY OWN DOG?"

BE SURE TO EXERCISE SELF REFLECTION and SELF EXAMINATION. What are your true responses?

TASK 3:      WRITING     Brief but well thought out answers:

1) What movie did you find more annoying, L'emigrante or Moonstruck?

What aspects irritated you the most (don't say 'the subtitles,' as in "it wasn't in English.")

2) What are the most striking stereotypes in the movies?

TASK 4:    WRITING

Emigrante and Moonstruck, make it look like it's easy for Italians (and ItAms) to get in touch with their feelings  -- good or bad.

Is this what non-Italians have in mind when they say that Italians of all stripes are "passionate?"
In Moonstruck this "being in touch with one's feelings" leads to cheating, emotional betrayal, complications, etc. So, is it all good?

Should one always be true to oneself? How did you react to Moonstruck and the betrayals? Why is it OK for her to cheat on her fiance', but not for anybody else? How did you react INSIDE?
