Focus your attention on the relevant points of how ITALIAN AMERICANS, AMERICANS and AMERICA are represented from an Italian point of view. This point of view is influenced by a left-leaning perspective (politically left).
It is, in a way, political criticism and comedy, or comedy with a subtle political message. If you have a chance, you should watch Charlie Chaplin's MODERN TIMES (at least the first part before he finds a girl friend.)
