REFLEXIVE - RECIPROCAL in the INFINITIVE FORM

INFINITIVE form:  Ex: TO WASH  in Italiano   LAVARE 

 

It is the most basic form of the verb that tells you simply the meaning.

 

 

REFLEXIVE INFINITIVE:  TO WASH ONESELF  in Italiano   LAVARSI

 

 

When the Reflexive Verb is in the infinite form, the Reflexive pronouns are attached to the end of the infinitive.

 

Noi non possiamo VEDERCI questa sera   
We can't SEE EACH OTHER tonight

Voi volete INCONTRARVI per discutere di affari comuni 
You want to MEET EACH OTHER to discuss common business

Loro non vogliono piu' VEDERSI perche' adesso si odiano.
They don't want to SEE EACH OTHER anymore because they hate each other.

Noi dobbiamo AIUTARCI   
We must HELP EACH OTHER

Voi continuate a DANNEGGIARVI 
You continue to DAMAGE EACH OTHER

Loro non possono SOPPORTARSI
