ALL TASKS IN ONE SINGLE DOCUMENT

Task 1:

Copy the following statements:

I will get an F if my assignment is late or if it doesn't follow the formatting instructions in the video on the homepage.

I understand the rules concerning plagiarism and I am aware of the consequences.

Task 2:

Lecture  (another experiment: I moved this brief lecture from earlier in the course to this point.)

NOTES and in a separate paragraph answer the question:

Does it work better now that you have acquired several notions about the reality of the Italian American experience? Or do you think it works best at the very beginning, as an introduction, before even the cartoons?

Don't forget what you have learned so far that helps you put it in a context.

Task 2:   LECTURE   on    HOW TO READ     CHRIST IN CONCRETE

START READING THE BOOK ONLY AFTER YOU WATCH THE LECTURE. Trust me on this: if you don't you will be lost.

Task 3: NOW you can start reading CHRIST IN CONCRETE, BOOK 1, GEREMIO (only 17 pages)

WRITE:  Digest what you watched in the lecture and read in the book before you write your PERSONAL observations about your reactions. Don't tell me what happens in the book, I know already.

Puzzled as to where to start from? Not unusual.
Confused at first? Not unusual.
Had to read over? Not unusual.
Overwhelmed by emotions? Not unusual.

Task 4 :     STRONGLY RECOMMENDED  I leave it up to you to decide WHEN to watch the other parts of the lecture on Christ.
