L'imperativo
(Imperative, command form)

It is a very common form and, despite its name, its use is not restricted to bossy peple.
You already saw several examples.

For instance, the instructions of the exercises :

are expressed in the IMPERATIVE

The forms vary very little from those of the present tense

There is no command form for "IO"
Why?

We left out one form. You know that the formal address requires the 3rd person of the verb.
So, if you want to give an order in a polite manner, you will use the following forms:
