INTERNET EXPLORER (IE)
This program is a browser, i.e. the software that allows you to view Websites.
There are several ways to start your browser.
Go to the "Address" linebox, click on the words to highlight them and press BACKSPACE to clean up the line.
Now type the Web address you want, also known as "URL".
For instance, you can type www.cnn.com to access the CNN site.
BOOKMARKING
If you find an interesting site, you want to create a shortcut so that you can go back to it rapidly.
Go to "FAVORITES" > Add to Favorites > New Folder and type the name of your folder.
Find your newly created folder in the "Create in" window and click to make sure it is open (click a few times to see is open and close).
When it is open, go to the "Name" textline and either accept the shortcut name or type in your name.
Click OK.
