about Mexicans

Read the heading: this is an IMMIGRATION SPILL

CONTEXT: This cartoon was published during an enormous OIL SPILL caused by a an explosion on a drilling platform owned by EXXON in the GULF OF MEXICO.

Sept. 2010 - 11 killed, 17 injured.

The message of the cartoon is very clear.
MEXICANS are pollutants, like an oil spill that will contaminate the shores;
same as ITALIANS one century later were vermin
carrying social/political diseases.
