Questions:
A. What is your reaction to this use of violence for political
reasons?
B. What kind of measures is the state allowed to use to curb
this kind of violence? Dragnets? Deportation? Preventive
detention? Unwarranted surveillance? What else?
C. Is this kind of violence a legitimate price to pay if we want
to be "free" of state surveillance and other security measures
that limit freedom?
(I use the term STATE instead of the more common GOVERNMENT.
Government is one of the institutions of a state. In the U.S.
the word 'government' is used instead of "state" in order to
avoid confusion with the "states" that constitute the Union.)
