These are REFLEXIVE FORMS
You use them when you indicate things that
you do to youself

Linguistically,
it means that the subject (the person performing the action)
and the object (the person at the receiving end of the action) are the same


The reflexive construction transforms a form like "io guardo" ("I look at")
into "mi guardo" ("I look at myself")
