COLLEGE TEACHERS SUPPORT WALKOUT
Instructors, Tutors, Fellows Vote
Sympathy For Move Against War
The Association of Instructors and
Tutors of the College went on record at their meeting yesterday as
being in sympathy with the anti-war action of the student body. It
resolved further to support the right of any instructor to participate
tomorrow morning's anti-war demonstration.
The two resolutions were
passed by a vote according to Mr. Bernard D. N. Grebanier, instructor
in the English Department and secretary of the Association.
Dr. Frederic Ewen,
instructor in the English department, is president of the Association,
which represents ninety percent of the instructors, tutors, and fellows
of Brooklyn College.
About one hundred and ten
members of the association were present at the meeting yesterday.
