DELEGATES TO JOIN M.I.A. PEACE MEETING
New York Colleges To Send Representatives; To Hold Sessions

An anti-war convention of delegates
from New York colleges will meet this Friday and Saturday, April 13 and
14, under the sponsorship of the Metropolitan Intercollegiate
.Association, for the purpose of bringing together all the anti-war
factions which exist at the eight member colleges of the Association.
On Friday evening, there
will be a symposium on peace and all relevant subjects at the School of
Education Auditorium, Washington Square. On Saturday alternoon and
evening, the delegates will divide into study groups for discussion of
various topics at McMillan Hall at Columbia University, Broadway at
116th Street.
To be a voting delegate at
the anti-war convention twenty-five student signatures are required.
Mr. John Hauser of Columbia University is chairman of the Arrangements
Committee. Max Cutler of N.Y.U. will be student chairman of the
convention tomorrow night. Colleges expected to send voting delegates
are St. Joseph's, Columbia, Hunter, C.C.N.Y., and Brooklyn.
