Group To Hear Dr. Slochower

          Dr. Harry Slochower of Brooklyn College, will speak this Saturday evening at 8 P.M. at the Symposium to be held at the Youth Center. The proceeds from the sale of tickets will be used to send Brooklyn College delegates to the War Conference to be held in Chicago during Christmas week. Dr. Slochower will speak on Human Nature and the Nature of War.

          Besides Dr. Slochower there will be two other speakers: Dr. Curliss Lamont, Instructor in Philosophy, at Columbia University who will deliver an address on The War Danger Today, and Mr. Quincy Howe, Editor of the Living Age, who will talk on The Economic Roots of War.

          Tickets for the Symposium may be purchased in advance from the various members of the Social Science Club for 15 cents. Tickets will be sold at the door for 25 cents.

          The Symposium will be held at the Youth Center, 105 Thatford Avenue near Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn on Saturday, December 12th at 8 P. M.
