To the Editor: The students of Brooklyn College have nobly responded to the call for help from the German Jews. As a result of the sale of Purim gift packages (Mishloach Manos) sold on German Refugee Day, March 1 and the day following, the sum of $57.17 was collected. This amount has been turned over to the Jewish National Fund, which buys and in Palestine provides for colonies of German Jewish refugees. In a letter acknowledging the receipt of the money, Mr. Herman Quittman, Secretary of the Jewish National Fund Council, expressed his thanks and appreciation to all who helped make the project a success.
