TO AID GERMAN EXILES
BY MARIONETTE SHOW
Dorothy Zaconick Will Produce
Plays Sponsored By Three
Clubs Wednesday
A marionette show
for the benefit of German refugees will be held Wednesday at 22:15
o'clock in 27P. The admission charge to the entertainment, which is
sponsored by the Masquers, the German club the Social Science club and
the Current Problems club is twenty-one cents.
Dorothy Zaconick, a
member of the German club who made a two year tour of Central Europe
with her marionettes, is the producer of the show. The program will
consist of two plays,Mickey Mouse, in German, containing a
dialogue between Mickey Mouse and Hitler, and the English comedy, Curtain,
Please.
Das Blatt,
the first German paper in the history of the College, will be issued by
the German club before the Christmas holidays. Humorous articles and
essays on any aspect of German culture as reflected in the arts should
be left in locker 8490L. The deadline for contributions is November 29.
Nathan Charnobilsky and Nosofsky are co-editors.
