SERVICES
Located
in Old Ingersoll, Room 0118, the Audiovisual Center houses the Library's
collection of thousands of videorecordings,
videodiscs and sound recordings for viewing or listening in the Center
and for classroom use. Faculty may borrow materials, students may
view materials in the Center.
You may search for
titles available in the Center in CUNY+ by combining the title or subject
you are interested in with one of the following a-v formats:
k=Hamlet and videorecording
k=Allen Ginsberg and
sound recording
k=Citizen Kane and
videodisc
All members of the
Brooklyn College community are welcome to visit the Center to browse the
collection which is arranged by Library of Congress call number.
CLASSROOM
SERVICES
The Center can borrow
videorecordings owned by other CUNY campuses (many have added their holdings
to CUNY+). Please call the Center for further details.
Transparencies can
be made for faculty free of charge.
The following equipment
is available for classroom use: VCRs and televisions, slide projectors,
CD players, and overhead projectors. Please call the Center to schedule
for classroom use.
The Center can provide
services to persons with disabilities in the lecture halls equipped with
large screen projection televisions and special sound systems for the hearing
impaired.
