/ Virgule 
This is a wild and rare-treat that's known by many other names including Slant and Slash.  

 

We're used to seeing slashes used in conjunction with numerical fractions, such as 7/8. It represents the division between the numerator and the denominator.  
In English, the virgule is used:  
  
  • To represent per
rotations/second, minutes/second, cups/gallon, etc...  
The speed limit on I95 is 55miles/hour.  
  
  • To represent or: 

she/he and/or    
  • Between options

It was a win/win situation.
