SACCO E VANZETTI: the political fight against immigration. The PALMER RAIDS. Who won at the end?

Task 4 in class Oct 22:  BRING YOUR COPY OF   CHRIST IN CONCRETE.  I will read the first couple of pages and explain how to handle it.

Before we start reading it, we will watch a film, Give Us This Day, loosely based on the novel. 
Then we will look at popular emigrant songs.

Finally, we will tackle the most difficult text in the semester. It is an intense and challenging book, a semi-autobiographical novel, a true masterpiece of writing and literature (they are not the same thing.)

We will take our time going through it.
