"The New Map just came by mail! I ordered it by latitude and longitude! And I see The Cove!" |
"Wow! Let's take a look at the next part of the poem!!" |
"This tells us which way to look! And which way to go!"
"We head towards Leo's tooth!" |
"Can you tell where Leo's Tooth is on the Old Map, Lou!?!!" |
"Sure! On the Old Map you can see the Tooth sticks up from the edge of a volcanic crater!" |
"So all we have to do is find a spire sticking up from the rim of a volcano on the New Map! And that's pretty obvious, now that I can read contour maps!" |
"Glad you can read contour maps, Lou! So, in the space below, give me the coordinates of the box which contains Leo's Tooth!" |
"Now give me the azimuth bearing towards the Tooth from the point of The Cove!"
"I suggest: print out this map so ye can calculate and plot yr results on it accurately!" |
"Now we know the way to go, we can look at the next part of the instructions!" |
"IF YOU GOT IT RIGHT, CARRY ON!!" |
