THE TREASURE TRAIL....

THE MODERN TREASURE MAP

"The New Map just came by mail! I ordered it by latitude and longitude! And I see The Cove!"

"Wow! Let's take a look at the next part of the poem!!"

"This tells us which way to look! And which way to go!"

"We head towards Leo's tooth!"

"Can you tell where Leo's Tooth is on the Old Map, Lou!?!!"

"Sure! On the Old Map you can see the Tooth sticks up from the edge of a volcanic crater!"

"So all we have to do is find a spire sticking up from the rim of a volcano on the New Map! And that's pretty obvious, now that I can read contour maps!"

"Glad you can read contour maps, Lou! So, in the space below, give me the coordinates of the box which contains Leo's Tooth!"

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the answer in the appropriate box and then click the button to the right of it to find out if the answer is correct. Put the capital letter first and then the number, with no space between them - for example, like the black dot that represents the Cove lies within box F6!

Box that contains Leo's Tooth?: ...Correct? ...

"Now give me the azimuth bearing towards the Tooth from the point of The Cove!"

"I suggest: print out this map so ye can calculate and plot yr results on it accurately!"

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the answer in the appropriate box and then click the button to the right of it to find out if the answer is correct. Only enter a number; do not enter any letters or other symbols!

Direction: degrees? ...Correct? ...

"Now we know the way to go, we can look at the next part of the instructions!"

"IF YOU GOT IT RIGHT, CARRY ON!!"
