Frequently Asked QuestionsArticlesWhere can I find articles on the use of police force in different communities? Articles on different topics are available in printed formats and electronically at the Brooklyn College Library. Visit the Field Library, Roosevelt Library or the Library Cafe and use one of the full-text databases we subscribe to on the Internet. Infotrac Academic ASAP is great for finding magazines and some journals; Lexis Nexis Academic Universe include thousands of news resources, including today's New York Times and also has legal information that may help with research in your topic. If you want to find articles on your topic in more scholarly resources, try one of the indexes on the database list that is directly targeted to your topic. Click on the information button next to each database to learn more about how it may be useful or see what databases are recommended in an appropriate Librarian's Choice subject guide. If you need to find printed articles published after 1980, look for them in the Roosevelt Library. Order older articles from the reference desk in the Field Library.
BooksI need books on multiculturalism. Books you can take out of the library can be requested from the circulation desk in the Field Library. Reference books are on the first floor of the Field Library opposite the reference desk.
