A peer reviewed search engine supplemented with a short set of worthwhile links including course materials and two online encyclopedias of philosophy.

Episteme Links
This selective site is maintained by a philosopher who elected to pursue a career in computer science but maintains an interest in the field. Perseus Project
Hosted by Tufts University, the Perseus Project contains full text editions of philosophy, history, and literature of the ancient Greek and Roman world. English translations and works in original languages are being added to this ongoing project. It also contains its own searchable Encyclopedia and a hyperlinked Historical Overview. This no frills site packs a lot of content into its links. Available resources include full text philosophical works and links to scholarly philosophic organizations, as well as a philosophy humor section.

The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
While the top page doesn't look very impressive, the contents will get your attention. It covers people, places and ideas. Entries vary from short essays to longer pieces with bibliographies and additional resources.

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy
An ambitious work in progress. The outline is all there, and sections are being filled in as they are written and reviewed by scholars.

Bioethics.net
Sponsored by the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania, this site contains extensive links, updates on publishing in bioethics, and special sections on cloning, assisted suicide, and bioethics for beginners. The site is also fully searchable.

Chinese Philosophical Etext Archive
Created by the Confucian Etext Project, it includes electronic versions of Chinese philosophical texts. 

Confucian Texts
This course web page for Core 9 has a wealth of resources on Confucian philosophy and Chinese culture. 

Descartes' Meditations
From the Wright State University philosophy department this site offers a contemporary English translation as well as 17th Century translations in French and Latin.

Greek Philosophy Archive
Includes the Dialogues of Plato, Aristotle's works, and other Greek philosophers such as Epictetus and Plotinus. The Meditations by Marcus Aurelius are included since they were written in Greek and are of the Stoic tradition. There is even an online sculpture garden showing examples of Greek art and architecture.

Plato and His Dialogues
This bilingual page (French and English) includes a biography, listing of works, and links to the Dialogues on the web.

Stephen's Guide to the Logical Fallacies
