Systems

Although working behind the scenes, AIT's success can be traced to the enthusiastic professionals of the Systems department. From a small cluster of computers in the mid-1980, the Systems department now supports more than 700 computers in the Library and Library Café. It also has an expert programming team to support faculty and departmental programming and web development needs.

Constantly on the lookout for cost-effective solutions, Systems responsibilities also include planning for the future in a world of fast change and high demands. Their breadth of expertise has guided them to projects as grand as an overhaul of the complete library information technology system, or as simple as a technical support call from a faculty member.
